Lenovo K6 Note launching in India on December 14

Lenovo is all set to launch its next smartphone- the K6 Note in India on December 16. The company has started the build up to the new launch on its official Twitter handle.

The Lenovo K6 Note will succeed the K5 Note which was launched in August this year in India. The K6 Note was first unveiled in IFA event in Berlin, Germany earlier this year.

Yesterday, Lenovo announced the launch of K6 Note on its Twitter handle. Lenovo tweeted "Just 3 days to go to unleash the Lenovo K6 Note. Retweet, if you're just as excited as we are for the #KillerEntertainer". Accompanied by a picture that shouts " 3 days to go".

Lenovo K6 Note features a 5.5-inch full HD display with (1080x1920 pixels) resolution. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 and Adreno 505 GPU. The K6 Note comes in two varinats - 3GB and 4GB RAM. The K6 Note runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with a 4000 mAh battery, two of the most notable improvements over the K5. Besides, the Lenovo K6 Note offers 32GB of internal storage and 128 GB micro SD card slot.
The Lenovo K6 Note boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front shooter. For connectivity the smartphone has 4G/LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/A-GPS.

The predecessor to the K6, the Lenovo K5 Note was launched in India in two variants. The 3 GB model is priced at Rs 11,999 while the 4 GB version costs Rs 13,499. The Lenovo K5 Note has a metal body and it comes with a fingerprint sensor. The phone has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) IPS display. The K5 Note offers 32 GB of internal memory and has a 128 GB micro SD card slot and has USB OTG functionality as well. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system based K5 Note has Vibe user interface and a 3,500 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support.
